Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles on designated local and regional routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper securing and handling procedures.
- Maintain accurate logs using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and manage paperwork.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, company policies, and traffic laws at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and status.
- Maintain a clean driving record and professional appearance.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with no air brake restrictions.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (Preferred).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, map reading, and route planning.
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
