Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently in local and regional routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation (DVIR, bills of lading).
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical).
- Minimum of 1-3 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
