Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers on assigned routes within the region.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring safety and security.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and mileage using ELD technology.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members to ensure timely deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or B).
- Must be willing to undergo a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass a physical examination to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new driving environments.
