Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on various routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Secure cargo to ensure safe delivery without damage.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) compliance.
- Interact professionally with customers and dispatch personnel.
- Adhere strictly to all federal and state DOT regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B (CDL required).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving practices.
- Basic mechanical skills for minor vehicle troubleshooting.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays.
