The Role:
As a Night Shift CDL Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transport of goods across the Midwest. We pride ourselves on our flatbed, dry van, and reefer operations, offering variety in your daily haul.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) safely and efficiently on designated routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight and balance regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding schedule changes or delays.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle interior and exterior.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A) required.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Excellent driving record with no major violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual tasks.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and paperwork.
