Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and efficiently during night hours.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or pallet jacks as required.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse staff.
- Ensure cargo is secured and protected against damage.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable truck driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and cargo securement.
- Ability to work night shifts (10:00 PM - 7:00 AM) as required.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and reporting.
