Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in strict adherence to FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Conduct comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure 100% safety compliance.
- Load and unload freight accurately and efficiently at various customer distribution centers.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to Hours of Service (HOS) rules.
- Deliver freight within agreed-upon timeframes while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery statuses.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record (no more than 3 points).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable professional driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 8:00 AM).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Valid Medical Card (if applicable for DOT regulations).
