As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the United States while maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe and timely manner, adhering to all traffic laws and DOT regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads according to FMCSA standards.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including electronic logging devices (ELD) and delivery receipts.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Represent the company professionally while driving and at customer pickup/delivery locations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in a similar role.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, FMCSA rules, and safety protocols.
- Physically capable of operating a commercial motor vehicle for extended periods.
- Current Hazmat or Tanker endorsements are a significant plus.
