Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Flatbed and Dry Van) safely and efficiently on highways and local routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Secure cargo properly using straps, chains, and binders to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of miles driven, fuel consumption, and delivery logs in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Deliver freight to customers in Memphis, TN, and Virginia while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve any issues that may arise during the haul.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and traffic laws at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current DOT medical card and DOT drug screen certification.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to operate logbooks or Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) proficiently.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
- Willingness to travel to Virginia and surrounding regions.
