Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on regional and long-haul routes.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Load and unload freight efficiently while securing cargo according to safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs using electronic logging devices (ELD) and complete all delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and support staff to ensure timely deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Current DOT medical card (or ability to obtain one).
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Clean MVR with no major violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.) within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting and maneuvering cargo and climbing in and out of the cab.
