Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers to meet delivery schedules and customer expectations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo safety and integrity throughout transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logbooks.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and partners regarding route changes or delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state of Texas.
- A clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience (hazmat/tanker endorsements preferred but not required).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
