Job Summary
As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across the Midwest. You will represent our brand with professionalism and ensure customer satisfaction at every delivery.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver freight on time and within the specified route parameters.
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit and adhere to weight and balance regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs (Electronic Logging Device - ELD) and vehicle documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading and unloading processes.
- Report any vehicle maintenance needs or safety hazards immediately to management.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Minimum age of 21 years old.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor tasks.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Experience with flatbed or tanker is a plus but not required for new drivers (training available).
