Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently on regional routes.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing freight.
- Complete daily logbooks and maintain accurate records in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report mechanical issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety policies, and company procedures.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or eligibility to obtain one with sponsorship.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean driving record (MVR check required; no major violations).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- No prior truck driving experience is required; we are looking for motivated individuals.
