Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles safely and legally in accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR).
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and logs.
- Navigate routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules and deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding status and delays.
- Adhere to company policies and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state of Indiana.
- Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred, but entry-level candidates with a clean record are encouraged to apply.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
