We are looking for professional drivers who take pride in their work and safety record.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers in a safe and efficient manner on assigned routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads to prevent shifting.
- Maintain accurate logs and records, including Electronic Logging Device (ELD) compliance and delivery receipts.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies to ensure a 100% safety record.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no serious traffic violations.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of log books and DOT compliance regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
