Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles (Class A or B) on local routes throughout Philadelphia and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload cargo onto pallets or dollies, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing the load.
- Verify delivery contents against invoices and obtain necessary signatures from recipients.
- Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical condition of the delivery truck.
- Complete daily logs, delivery paperwork, and vehicle inspection reports accurately.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients at every stop.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screening.
