Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks and trailers in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Navigate diverse routes throughout the Midwest with a focus on timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols to minimize risk and maintain a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Current DOT medical card and passing a pre-employment drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road conditions, and safe driving practices.
- Ability to pass a background check and possess a satisfactory MVR (Motor Vehicle Record).
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including nights and weekends as needed.
