Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles over 26,000 lbs GVWR
- Transport freight across Texas and regional states while adhering to DOT regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Collaborate with logistics team for efficient route planning and delivery timelines
- Ensure cargo security and proper loading/unloading procedures
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance with safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in Texas
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Texas roadways and transportation regulations
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Willingness to travel overnight 1-2 nights per week
