Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight securely using proper equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and manage delivery schedules to meet customer deadlines.
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery and pickup locations.
- Adhere to all safety policies, including speed limits and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of DOT/HOS regulations and safety procedures.
- Must be willing to submit to a drug screen and background check.
