Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks to transport cargo safely and efficiently across the region.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle mileage (EOBR compliant).
- Load and unload freight, ensuring cargo security and proper handling.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations, Hours of Service (HOS) rules, and safety protocols.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
