Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles in accordance with all federal, state, and company regulations.
- Prepare and complete all required paperwork, including driver logs (ELD) and delivery receipts.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and DOT compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper securing methods are used.
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct while representing the company.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A issued in the United States.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- US Citizenship or valid legal work authorization.
