Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A) to deliver freight on time and in perfect condition.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records and logbooks.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring safety during transit.
- Navigate various routes throughout the Midwest, including Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel.
Qualifications
- Valid State-issued Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Willingness to undergo hazmat or tanker endorsements if required.
