Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently over various routes within the region.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo with care, adhering to all weight and balance regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck cab and cargo area.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in good standing.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience (preferred).
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and DOT compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and time management abilities.
