Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently.
- Ensure strict compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Perform detailed pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing procedures and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) logs and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and customers during transit.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and navigate routes with precision.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state of Texas.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no DUIs or major violations in the last 3 years.
- At least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
