Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight accurately and efficiently, ensuring cargo security during transit.
- Maintain accurate logbooks (ELD) and complete daily vehicle inspection reports (DVIR).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate schedules and resolve delivery issues.
- Uphold our high standards of safety and customer service on every delivery.
- Follow route maps and time schedules to ensure on-time performance.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of DOT hours-of-service regulations and safety procedures.
- Physical ability to handle loading and unloading cargo and perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and travel as needed.
