Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) to transport goods safely and efficiently to designated destinations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any defects or damages.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement of freight.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records and logs of service.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients and warehouse personnel.
- Keep the truck and trailer clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) and Drug Screen clearance.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Strong understanding of Georgia and Illinois roadways and logistics hubs.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
