Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations in San Francisco and the greater Bay Area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or other equipment, ensuring proper weight distribution and security.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and digital delivery records, ensuring all delivery paperwork is completed correctly and on time.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, handling packages with care and managing basic customer inquiries professionally.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) valid for at least 6 months.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for minor vehicle troubleshooting.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
