Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks to deliver freight to designated destinations in a timely manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads against shifting.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) records, adhering to all Hours of Service (HOS) rules.
- Provide exceptional customer service during stopovers and deliveries.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of local and interstate traffic laws and regulations.
- Basic math skills for accurate cargo weighing and documentation.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
