Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated destinations safely and efficiently.
- Inspect pre-trip and post-trip vehicle condition to ensure safety compliance and report any maintenance issues.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or hand trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing freight.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to delivery schedules and maintaining a professional demeanor.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience as a Class A Driver.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and the ability to perform routine vehicle inspections.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
