Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial delivery vehicle on assigned routes throughout the Seattle metropolitan area.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing items.
- Interact professionally with customers to handle packages and answer questions.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork (DVIR, manifests).
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and minor maintenance checks.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations within the last 3 years).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 70 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and smartphone apps.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends.
