Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles along designated routes to deliver products to customers in a timely manner.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured properly and handled with care.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery records.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving any delivery issues on the spot.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized, adhering to company appearance standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements.
- A clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional driving experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills for logging and reporting.
