Responsibilities
- Perform safe and timely delivery of freight to designated stops along assigned routes in the Las Vegas area.
- Inspect vehicle daily for mechanical issues, reporting any defects or maintenance needs immediately.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork, including delivery receipts and daily mileage reports.
- Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to company standards and resolving delivery issues professionally.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper securement and handling of freight.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies to ensure a secure working environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a professional route driver or in a similar logistics role.
- Strong knowledge of Las Vegas geography and the ability to navigate complex routes efficiently.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 lbs repeatedly during the workday.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with customers and management.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends as needed.
- Basic computer skills for logging deliveries and tracking shipments.
