Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks to transport freight safely and efficiently throughout the Boston metro area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and adhere to all DOT/FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Keep the cab and trailer clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC).
- At least 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (1 year for Class B).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts (Saturday & Sunday) as required.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety protocols.
