Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver freight to local and regional destinations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure 100% safety compliance.
- Load and secure cargo using straps, chains, and proper tie-down techniques.
- Maintain accurate records using electronic logging devices (ELD) in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and DOT safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Keep the vehicle clean and maintain a professional appearance.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B.
- Clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Current DOT medical card and physical.
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of navigation and the Las Vegas area.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry items up to 50 lbs.
