Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods across regional routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Plan efficient routes while maintaining delivery schedules and deadlines
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding shipment status
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Complete electronic logging (ELD) and documentation accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Kansas roadways and regional geography
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
