Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles delivering freight within DC metro area
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Ensure timely deliveries while maintaining safety compliance
- Communicate professionally with clients and warehouse staff
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies
- Assist in freight loading/unloading when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with DC metropolitan routes preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Smartphone with reliable data access
- Flexibility for early morning starts
- No major preventable accidents in past 3 years
