Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A) in strict adherence to FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all freight is properly secured and transported without damage.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records and all required DOT documentation.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report mechanical issues.
- Navigate efficiently to delivery destinations, including routes to Florida and other regional hubs.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and maintain a professional appearance on and off the road.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screening.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, road safety, and vehicle maintenance.
- Willingness to travel to various locations, including Florida.
- Basic computer skills for logging and reporting.
