Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in a safe, legal, and efficient manner according to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Load and unload freight efficiently while securing cargo to prevent damage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B (Required).
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clean driving record with no more than one preventable accident in the past 3 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Basic mechanical skills for minor on-road adjustments.
