Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Ensure timely delivery of freight to customers across the Nashville metro area and beyond.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain roadworthiness.
- Load and secure cargo using proper tie-down techniques.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) and acceptable background check.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if needed.
- Strong knowledge of interstate and intrastate traffic laws.
