Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using electronic logging devices
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and delivery scheduling
- Handle specialized freight including temperature-controlled and hazardous materials
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Familiarity with LA metro area traffic patterns and delivery zones
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- HAZMAT certification preferred but not required
- Flexibility for overnight shifts and weekend deliveries
- Smartphone proficiency for communication apps
