Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently according to DOT regulations
- Plan optimal delivery routes while meeting strict time schedules
- Inspect and maintain vehicle pre/post-trip documentation
- Safely load/unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all safety protocols and secure cargo properly
- Complete electronic logging system (ELD) compliance accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Basic navigation skills and GPS proficiency
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- TWIC card preferred (not required)
