Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial tractor-trailers (53' dry van reefers) on dedicated regional routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logbooks (e-logs)
- Deliver freight to distribution centers on schedule with zero-touch loading
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate dispatch via Qualcomm system for real-time updates
- Manage paperwork including bills of lading and delivery confirmations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year OTR or regional experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally and climb trailer decks
- Flexibility for overnight trips (1-2 nights weekly)
- Basic smartphone proficiency for electronic logging
- TWIC card or ability to obtain within 30 days
