Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks for regional freight delivery
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Adhere to HOS regulations and DOT compliance standards
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Load/unload cargo with proper securement techniques
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean MVR and zero-tolerance policy for violations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with airbrakes endorsement
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs occasionally
- Basic familiarity with electronic logging devices
- Strong communication and time-management skills
