Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on long-haul routes between Columbus, OH and Florida
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks
- Manage electronic logging systems and delivery documentation
- Collaborate with dispatch team for optimal route planning and on-time deliveries
- Maintain professional communication with clients and logistics partners
- Support freight loading/unloading operations when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety standards
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb trailer steps
- Flexibility for overnight travel and variable schedules
- Must reside within 50 miles of Columbus, OH
