Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods on regional routes
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology and real-time traffic updates
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and vehicle inspection reports
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for optimal load management
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery operations
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen
- Knowledge of HOS regulations and electronic logging devices
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for overnight stays and irregular schedules
