Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across Texas and regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle compliance with DOT regulations
- Plan efficient routes while adhering to delivery schedules and traffic laws
- Maintain accurate logs, delivery records, and required documentation
- Communicate with dispatch teams and clients regarding shipment status
- Operate advanced telematics systems for real-time tracking and optimization
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment maintenance programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Texas roadways and regional regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Flexible schedule availability including nights and weekends
- Experience with hazmat tanker or flatbed preferred
