Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional freight transport
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and maintain accurate logs
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and load tracking
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Document all transport activities and incidents per company policy
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year OTR or regional driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Knowledge of LA metro area and Southern California routes
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
