Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) on dedicated regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD)
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs promptly
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient load management and on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all safety protocols
- Document delivery paperwork and handle any shipment discrepancies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean 3-year MVR
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with ELD devices and electronic logging
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong navigation skills and route planning abilities
- Flexibility for early starts and occasional overnight trips
- Required: TWIC card and hazmat endorsement (preferred)
