Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van/reefer) on dedicated regional routes
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Adhere strictly to HOS regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery status and delays
- Maintain clean driving record and vehicle appearance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Michigan roadways
- Flexible availability including weekends
- hazmat endorsement preferred
