Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers and deliver freight on regional routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Ensure cargo security and proper loading/unloading procedures
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Manage paperwork including bills of lading and delivery confirmations
- Perform minor preventative maintenance checks and report issues
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Ohio roadways and delivery regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible hours
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Must pass background check and MVR verification
